Meal Window vs Meal Schedule

The old sleep schedule feature is now gone, and replaced with a simpler and more flexible system

Now you can set up eating windows, the times of day you are available or willing to eat. You can also block off busy periods when eating is not possible, like a daily meeting, your commute, or your actual sleep time if you work an unusual schedule.

This gives you more control over your plan and makes it easier to match the app to your life. Whether you are an early riser, a shift worker, or someone who wants meals scheduled around work and family, the app now adjusts to you, not the other way around.

See below what the new format looks like:

Do you happen to work night shift? No worries, you're still covered! If you work a night shift schedule, here's how you would enter that into the app.

Let's assume you wake up at 10:00pm and go to bed at 2:00pm every day. Here's how you would enter that into the app:

  1. Tell the app you're willing to eat at any time during the day
    1. Set your First meal time to 12:15am
    2. Set your last meal time to 11:30pm
  2. Tell the app when you're not available to eat (when you're sleeping or other unavailable times)
    1. Add a busy period from 2:00pm to 10:00pm

Now the app will schedule meals for you to accommodate your night shift schedule.
