For instance, if you weigh yourself at the end of the day after all your meals, you will undoubtedly be heavier than you otherwise would have been first thing in the morning. Not to mention, the amount of food and drink you had that day could dramatically influence your weight. So how should you weigh in for consistent readings?
The ideal weigh in:
- First thing in the morning
- Minimal to no clothing
- After using the bathroom
- this one can be variable but at the very least urinate first. If you can take care of other business too this would be best but you cannot always control for this.
The closer you are to being consistent with the above the more accurate the app can be at making any changes it may need to keep you on track for your goal. The better the data going in, the better the data going out to you.
